Classroom Expectations We begin our day with breakfast at 7:55. We stop serving breakfast at 8:20. I encourage the children to eat breakfast since our snack isn't until 10:30 with lunch served at 12:15. When you bring your child into the room you need to sign in and have your child sign in his/her first name. Next have them take their blue folder out of their bag and put it in the box. Help your child wash her hands and then help them open anything that needs help at the breakfast table. If anything happened the night before that may impact your child's day, please share that with either me or Mrs. Edens. It helps us to have a good day with your child. Once your child is settled in you may entrust us with her welfare until you return at 2:00.
Rules/Regulations
Welcome letter Welcome to Pre-K! I am excited about working with your preschooler this year at Middle Fork. This is my first year working at Middle Fork but I have lots of experience working with preschool age children. Last year I worked at Bolton Elementary school with EC preschoolers. Previous to that I worked at the Career Center teaching high schoolers how to work with preschoolers and managing our on-site child care center. We will have a year packed full of learning opportunities for the children and me!
Grading Policy I will administer formal assessments at least 3 times during the school year. The information will assist me in planning my program to help your child.
Attendance
Regular attendance is important for the success of your child. If they need to be out please send in a note when they return. Children who arrive after 8:30 will be counted tardy.
