Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder!
Mrs. R. Morris - 1st grade teacher
Ms. Benton - 1st grade assistant
We are both ready for a WONDERful year!
Welcome to Room 3 ! My name is Rachelle Morris. I have been teaching for around 14 years now and all in first grade. I have previous experience teaching High School English along with computer room work in middle school. I was born in Salisbury NC, but graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I settled for several years in the Shenandoah Valley before finally moving back to North Carolina in 2010.
I enjoy the world of education and everything it can offer your children. I'm quite eager to see what they know and add more to it! I have a great deal of books in the classroom library to give you children every oppurtunity to explore their world through literature, both non-fiction and fiction. Reading is such a powerful tool and I can't wait to equip them with it.
