Welcome to my web page! I am very excited about our start to the 2012-2013 school year. This is the start to my 15th year teaching at Old Town. I welcome parents to visit our classroom and see what we are learning in third grade. We have lunch daily from 11:30-11:55. You are welcome to have lunch with your child anytime!
MULTIPLICATION!!!!
We are currently working on mastering our multiplication facts. Each student has written a SMART Goal to help track progress with mastering our facts. Please quiz your child nightly on their multiplication facts. Fluency with these facts is crucial in third grade!
AR GOALS!
NINE STUDENTS MET HIS/HER 2nd QUARTER AR GOAL AND WILL BE TREATED TO A PIZZA PARTY!!!!!! Way to go boys and girls! Each student has an AR goal this quarter to DOUBLE their number of AR points. Please have your child read their AR book nightly to help us meet our goal!
A little about me...
I am married and have 3 sons. My oldest attends Reagan High School. I have one son at Northwest Middle and one at Rural Hall Elementary. When I am not working I spend alot of time traveling with my family!
