Welcome to 5th Grade!
I am really excited about this new year! This is my second year at Mineral Springs Elementary, but this is my 27th year in education. I taught 6th grade for 13 years at Ashley Middle school (now Ashley Elementary), 3 years at Southeast Middle and then 7th grade for 2 at Hanes Middle. I then left WSFCS to be an Assistant Principal in Yadkin County for 6 years. 4 years ago I came back to WSFCS to be the Testing/Title 1 Coordinator at Forest Park Elementary. I enjoy change and love teaching 5th grade!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Science fair information was sent home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. All 5th graders are required to complete a project. They are due to Mrs. Martinez on November 29, 2012!!
