During Second Quarter we will be investigating two topics in science. Students will be studying forces in motion and properties of matter.
For our first concept forces in motion students will be learning about how one object affects another object. They will make observations on how the speed of an object affects motion, and how the earth uses a force called gravity to hold us down.
Our second topic, properties of matter, we will be studying solids, liquids and gasses and leanring the similarities and differences of each type of matter. We will also study how heat can affect the states of matter, as well as friction.
Try some experiments at home!
