Box Tops for Education Cut the BOX TOPS for Education label off participating products and send them to your child's teacher. Southwest receives 10 cents for each label and the class which collects the most BOX TOPS receives a special treat. If you want to find out what products have the educational labels, CLICK HERE.  Southwest earns money by recycling aluminum cans! Save your aluminum cans and drop them off outside the gym where there is a collection trailer. Classes compete to see who can turn in the most cans towards a class treat! When you drop your cans off make sure to let your child’s homeroom teacher know how many cans you dropped off. Designed to be a school project that everyone can participate in, all you need is a CAN-DO attitude.  Restaurant Day Fundraiser Need a break from cooking? Join us at the SWES Spirit Days at two local restaurants:  Subway restaurant located at River Ridge Commons. Dates for 2012-13 include: 6/20Enjoy a smoothie or some frozen yogurt from Simply Tart while supporting Southwest. A fter picking up your Subway, stop by Simply Tart on the following dates: 6/20. Try the new Steak Escape Sandwich Grill (in the Clemmons Town Center by Panera Bread) for a custom-made sandwich or salad with delicious sides and dips. Dates for 2012-13 include: 5/21.  Southwest Elementary receives 10% of all SWES sales.
